Hey, I'm Angela Rose
I’m a hairdresser and I’ve lived the journey of building a business behind the chair.
I’ve spent over 23 years in the hairdressing industry, building businesses, running salons and experiencing first-hand what it takes to turn your skills as a hairdresser into a successful business.
Over the years, I watched more and more talented hairdressers step out on their own into home salons, freelance, mobile and independent ways of working but there was a gap in our industry.
They had the talent, they had the vision, but there was no clear pathway showing them how to actually run the business behind it.
Where do I start? Am I set up properly? What should I charge? How do I grow my clientele? Who do I turn to when I need help?
That’s why I created Indie Hair Academy
Indie is here to give independent hairdressers a place where they belong, with the business education, practical resources, industry connections and ongoing support to help them set up, build, grow and expand.
I’ve walked this path myself, now I’m here to help make the pathway clearer for solo hairdressers.
